The Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies appointed Nadja Håkansson as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a member of the Executive Board of the thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies segment, effective October 7, 2025. Håkansson was appointed to the new position for an initial term of three years, ending on October 6, 2028. She will assume this role in addition to her current position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of thyssenkrupp Uhde, a role she has held since May 2024.
Ilse Henne, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies, said: "thyssenkrupp Uhde has made significant progress in a highly complex market environment under the leadership of Nadja Håkansson. Prior to joining thyssenkrupp, Håkansson held various management positions at Siemens and Siemens Energy. In these roles, she gained extensive international experience in supply chain management, operations, sales, and corporate management. As Senior Vice President of the Africa region at Siemens Energy, for example, she was responsible for the strategic development of the portfolio in African markets.
